Part of the Parisian landscape.

There are Paris views that feel almost too perfectly composed to be real, and this is one of them. From Cours-la-Reine, the Eiffel Tower rises beyond the ornate Pont Alexandre III, with its gilded figures and Art Nouveau lamps framing the scene.  The view, one of the best, is a reminder that the Eiffel Tower was never simply an isolated monument—it became part of a Parisian landscape that was continually being reinvented around it.

“You don’t look for the Tower — you simply notice when she finds you.”
