From a window at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs, the view runs across the formal gardens of the Jardin du Carrousel towards the Eiffel Tower. A composed foreground for Paris’s most familiar landmark.
The Musée des Arts Décoratifs occupies the Marsan wing of the Louvre Palace, at the northern edge of the Jardin du Carrousel. Its windows offer an unusual elevated view across the gardens, with the Eiffel Tower rising beyond the trees on the opposite side of the Seine.
“You don’t look for the Tower — you simply notice when she finds you.”
