The Pont de Bir-Hakeim provides one of the classic views of the Eiffel Tower but the bridge itself is worth a look. Built between 1903 and 1906, it has two levels, with Line 6 of the Paris Metro running above the road and pedestrian level. The structure crosses the Seine on either side of the Île aux Cygnes.
From here, the Eiffel Tower rises beyond the trees, while the river traffic and the bridge itself provide a distinctly Parisian foreground.
