Perched on a massive steel viaduct, Stalingrad Metro station offers a completely different experience from the classic underground entrances. The elevated tracks and grand metal structure give it a bold, industrial look that contrasts beautifully with its surroundings.

Opened in 1903, this station serves Lines 2, 5, and 7. It’s one of the city's major transport hubs where the the familiar rumble of the metro passes overhead.

There’s something particularly photogenic and alive about these above-ground stations which capture the dynamic spirit of Paris.

The station is named after the Battle of Stalingrad in World War II. It sits at the intersection of several vibrant neighborhoods and is just a short walk from the Bassin de la Villette and the Canal de l’Ourcq.
