Trocadéro is one of the Paris Metro stations with a history almost as interesting as its location. It opened on 2 October 1900, linking Étoile with Trocadéro just in time for the Exposition Universelle. Today it is served by Lines 6 and 9, but the route now known as Line 6 has changed numbers and configurations several times since those early days. It is of course the station to arrive at for that iconic snap of the Eiffel Tower.
Happy Monday everyone!
