A bench for reflection...

Bench on a leafy path in the grounds of the Cité des Sciences et de l'Industrie, Paris

The Cité des sciences et de l’industrie is one of the largest science and technology museum in Europe. Opened in 1986, it occupies the northern part of the Parc de la Villette in the 19th arrondissement, on the site of the former Villette abattoirs.

But you don't have to go inside to find somewhere to sit and contemplate things. The museum grounds include 4,800 m² of lawns, 3,700 m² of meadow and 75 public benches. This particular bench makes a pleasant pause among the trees, rather removed from the busy exhibitions and activities inside.
