Bon week-end from the Promenade Gibran Khalil Gibran

The Promenade Gibran Khalil Gibran (Promenade du quai de Grenelle) in the 15th arrondissement is named for the celebrated Lebanese poet, writer and artist, best known internationally for The Prophet. Paris decided in 2017 to honour him with a riverside promenade on the 'Front de Seine'. Gibran had a particular connection with Paris: he lived here for two years from 1908, studying art and making friends in the city's artistic circles, including Auguste Rodin.
