Tuesdays are for the Tower and today she stands across the water from another familiar symbol. Looking down the Seine, the Eiffel Tower rises to the right, while the Paris Statue of Liberty holds her place on the narrow ribbon of the Allée des Cygnes.
This little scene is pure Paris, two icons sharing the same stretch of river, sunlight drifting across the boats and bridges.
In the city it is easy to find the tower in new perspectives, like here, not alone, but in quiet conversation with another symbol of hope and freedom. Paris loves these pairings that appear when you’re simply paying attention.
“You don’t look for the Tower — you simply notice when she finds you.”
Part of the “Take on the Tower” Series
Each Tuesday, we turn our gaze toward the Eiffel Tower — seen not as a monument, but as a quiet companion to everyday Paris.
