On the forecourt of the Palais d’Iéna in the 16th arrondissement stands Sol et Colombe, also known as La Naissance de la Pensée, a bronze sculpture by Martial Raysse. The work forms part of the artistic setting of Auguste Perret’s Palais d’Iéna, now home to the Conseil économique, social et environnemental.
You could do worse than wrapping up well and taking a stroll along Avenue du Président Wilson, with the autumn trees, the Palais d’Iéna and plenty of Parisian architecture along the way, it makes a good route for a weekend wander.
Hope your week ends well and it's followed by a lovely weekend
