Waiting Tables on Rue Poulbot.

Rue Poulbot is named after Francisque Poulbot, the illustrator whose *drawings of Montmartre's children made the name Poulbot part of the vocabulary of the Butte. He was also active in helping the area's poorer children, including through a dispensary he established in 'the village'.

Today, the street has a rather different role, with cafés and restaurants making good use of its narrow, cobbled space. At Le Poulbot, a long line of tables provides a good place for visitors to pause and watch Montmartre go by.

Le Poulbot is at 3 rue Poulbot, just off Place du Tertre.
