Rue Henri-Noguères - on the streets of Paris

Rue Henri-Noguères is a short pedestrian street beside the Bassin de la Villette in the 19th arrondissement, running between Avenue Jean-Jaurès and Quai de la Loire.

It was created during the redevelopment of the Bassin de la Villette and received its present name in 2002, honouring Henri Noguères, a journalist, historian, lawyer and former Resistance member who later became president of the Ligue des droits de l'homme.

Today, it is perhaps better known for something rather more contemporary. The long wall running along the street has become a changing canvas for street artists, so the view can be quite different from one visit to the next.
