The final section of the Art Deco exhibition at the Museum of Decorative Arts brings visitors face to face with one of the great symbols of that era, the legendary Orient Express. Installed in the museum’s grand nave, a cabin from the former Étoile du Nord train offers a rare glimpse, albeit through the windows, into the golden age of luxury rail travel.
Alongside the cabin, three models of the future Orient Express, redesigned by Maxime d’Angeac, connect the glamour of the past with a new vision for the future.
