The Butte-Chaumont gives one of the clearest views across Paris toward Montmartre.
From the top of the park, Sacré-Cœur stands out on its hilltop, white domes and towers rising above the rooftops. The city spreads below in layers of Haussmann buildings, chimneys, and distant spires.
This is a classic Paris panorama: Montmartre looking distant yet close, the view feels like a quiet reward for the climb up to the belvedere.
A reminder: Paris weekends are often best when you step away from the center up a hill, across a park, toward a familiar silhouette on the horizon.
