Mon Banc Dominical — My Sunday Bench in Paris, Jardin d'Erevan

a classic green bench,in need of a little TLC, in Jardin d'Erevan, a narrow green space nestled along the banks of the River Seine on Cours Albert Ier in the 17th arrondissement.

Today's spot: a classic green bench,in need of a little TLC, in Jardin d'Erevan, a narrow green space nestled along the banks of the River Seine on Cours Albert Ier in the 17th arrondissement.

The bench sits on the wide gravel path, framed by a mature tree, with the elegant Haussmann facades of the opposite bank rising across the water, grand buildings, dormer windows and mansard roofs.

This peaceful garden, hugs the right bank between Pont de l'Alma and Pont des Invalides, offering calm river views, joggers, dog walkers, and the occasional boat gliding past. It's a local escape from the nearby bustle of the Champs-Élysées area and the grand avenues just south.

This is how it should look!

Bon dimanche à tous ! Have a peaceful Sunday, everyone.

“Paris has many views — but the one from a Sunday bench might be the most honest.”
