Streets of Paris - Rue Saint-Rustique in Montmartre.

Street art by C215 on the corner of Rue Saint-Rustique and Rue du Mont-Cenis in Montmartre, evoking the bohemian artists of Paris’s historic artistic quarter.

On what can be a very busy corner of Montmartre, street art brings a contemporary twist to one of the area's oldest streets . This striking mural by C215 (Christian Guémy) pays tribute to the bohemian artists who shaped Montmartre’s golden era, writers, painters, outsiders and dreamers who once filled these streets. Set against the everyday façades of Rue Saint-Rustique and Rue du Mont-Cenis, the artwork feels rooted in place, blending contemporary street art with the neighbourhood’s long artistic lineage. A reminder that Montmartre still speaks through its walls, not just its cafés and stairways.

“The streets of Paris are best explored without hurry — they reveal themselves only to the unhurried.”
