Les Gobelins a station on Line 7 of the Paris metro can be found at the crossroads of four main roads, Ave. des Gobelins, Bvd. Arago, Bvd. de Port-Royal and Bvd. Saint-Marcel in the 13th arr..The station is named after the Gobelins Tapestry Factory which once supplied the court of the French monarchs and still makes tapestries today. More here.
Line 7 runs in the east of Paris from north to south, from La Courneuve in the north to Mairie d’Ivry/Villejuif in the south. You can access the Louvre, Palais Royal, Palais Garnier (Opera), Rue Mouffetard (Censier) among others from this line.
